Product Enablement Head at RMB - Rand Merchant Bank

Job Description

• To manage the design and implementation of appropriate and sustainable product related solutions (including pricing) and ensure effective collaboration and integration across product houses, operations and product enabling teams. The Product Enablement Head shapes and lead the direction of product governance, operations and delivery.   
• To solution for and manage product changes that are technology or operational in nature, by collaborating with Information Technology (IT), Operations and the Transaction Products and Services (TPS) Product managers. To deliver Product changes within agreed project timelines and budget, and to enable the changes within the organisation and with clients.
• Setting and implementing best practice product governance, operations, and delivery frameworks.
• Optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency across the product lifecycle and using data-driven decision-making add value to product margin cost management.
• Work closely with product managers, compliance, legal, operations and other stakeholders to ensure seamless product operations, updates, and enhancements. 
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions.
• Design and deliver customer service solutions, systems and interactions aligned to Organisational values and service standards that build the brand.
• Identify, drive and implement ideas, policies, procedures, standards and frameworks to enhance sales and increase profit and manage future fit practice.
• Coordinate teams to ensure end to end implementation of prioritised and approved solutions for relevant product house, business unit or segment.
• Manage and support team in designing customer centric and sustainable solutions, products, enhancements and business cases and ensure effective integration across channels thereby delivering on the strategic objectives of product house, business unit or segment.
• Obtain a thorough analysis of the client's business, process and systems requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of the technical trends, commercial market, competition and trends in the market
• Provide input and guidance on research conducted by team in order to identify ideal target markets and new entrants for product launches ensuring that new products are relevant and viable and are customer centric.
• Review proposed solutions, products and enhancements (at a detailed level), and provide input and guidance to ensure solutions meet strategic objectives and is aligned to business and FirstRand objectives.
• Draw on knowledge and experience to identify, investigate and solve complex business problems, and in doing so develop new solutions or enhancements and propose recommendations to business.
• Review the business case and advise on specifications (as required) for new or enhanced business solution Ensure continuous improvement of all business solutions
• Coordinate new product development efforts and associated go-to-market operational plans.
• Effectively coordinate new product development efforts and associated go-to-market operational plans in support of the overall business strategy.
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across business areas and across the group.
• Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes.
• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise.
