Product Manager – Fraud and Credit Risk at Salt South Africa

• They’re looking for a Product Manager to take the lead on a key domain focused on risk and fraud, shaping how the business makes smarter decisions, protects customers, and scales responsibly.
• This is a role for someone who enjoys working with complex, data-rich problems and wants to be close to both strategy and delivery.

What you’ll be doing

• Own and evolve a core product area focused on risk management and fraud prevention
• Define and drive the product roadmap aligned to business goals and customer outcomes
• Work closely with Engineering, Data, and Risk teams to improve decisioning, automation, and controls
• Identify opportunities to improve approval quality, reduce losses, and streamline processes
• Lead initiatives end-to-end – from discovery and problem definition through to delivery and optimisation
• Use data, trends, and performance insights to guide prioritisation and measure success
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including compliance and operations

What they’re looking for

• ±5 years’ experience in Product Management within a complex, data-driven environment
• Background in fintech, lending, payments, fraud, or similar regulated industries
• Strong delivery capability with experience working in cross-functional teams
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear product direction
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities
• Exposure to decisioning systems, fraud tools, or data-led platforms is a strong plus
