About the job

The ideal candidate will have a veterinary qualification with experience or an interest in veterinary medicines and a passion for marketing for either FPA (food producing animals like cattle, sheep) or CAP (companion animals).

Responsibilities

• Product management in a pharmaceutical environment. Ensure a high level of confidence in animal pharmaceutical products with external (customers) and internal (sales force) role players.
• Product marketing research, management and launches, trade shows.
• Establish strong network with professionals and key players in the industry.
• Training and support of national sales teams.
• Scientific expertise management and network.
• Customer relationship management - customer guidance, product complaint management, advisory and troubleshooting. Key account management.
• Financial (budget) and team management.

Qualifications and skills

• Veterinary qualification
• 4+ years' of product marketing experience. Solid understanding of FPA and CAP regulatory bodies rules and regulations.
• IT: Google suite; CRM; GMI; C-view
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
