Product Owner at Lulalend

• Lula is hiring a Product Owner. In this role, you’ll work alongside various business stakeholders to validate and document requirements for the engineering team to execute against, while collaborating closely with Business Operations to ensure successful delivery and business readiness for new features on our Credit Platform.
• You will collaborate closely with our Engineering team to oversee the product backlog, resolve obstacles, and adjust plans as needed to deliver a top-tier product. Additionally, working with our Delivery Teams will be crucial to guarantee that Lula products are released on time and reliably, with a strong emphasis on innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate business ideas by assessing business value and urgency.
• Develop business cases with business teams and senior product team members to determine commercial, operational and technical feasibility of ideas.
• Managing the product backlog, prioritizing in line with business objectives by determining and managing budget, scope and time constraints.
• Overseeing the development of our products by playing a key role in planning and design (with our UX/UI team).
• Stakeholder management - you are the link between stakeholders and our Engineering team, ensuring buy-in and the delivery of clear instructions and deliverables for our Developers.
• Adopting a mindset of product iteration, responsible for evaluating progress at each stage of the development process.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent
• Product owner certification would be advantageous
• 2-3 years experience as a Product Owner, ideally within a start-up or high-growth company
• Experience with platform/backend projects.
• Managing and building out a backlog with a focus on iterative and continuous delivery
• Hands-on experience working with Engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Experience building products iteratively by applying lean principles and focusing on MVPs
• Understanding of agile development process
• Technical acumen and genuine passion for technology
• Understanding of core concepts related to UI/UX design
