Product Specialist - Ekapa at Epiroc

• Monthly machine inspections by the Contractor's Site personnel and the Product Specialist will be conducted on-site monthly to assist the Employer in maintaining the Commodities to OEM standards, and the findings from such inspections will be included in reports furnished to the Employer's representative during formal Contract and/or operational forums.
• The contractor will ensure that it provides on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring in the performance of the services to the Employer's employees throughout the period of the Contract and will furnish the Employer with monthly feedback on the status/progress of such training.
• Provide specialized support on Epiroc machines and systems.
• Carry out scheduled services and breakdown repairs on Epiroc EDS equipment.
• Coaching of Epiroc and Mine employees on how to troubleshoot and repair Epiroc autonomous and other Epiroc systems.
• Fault finding, perform root cause analysis, and rectify technical issues.
• Participate in RCA initiatives to identify reoccurring failures and work together with the Product Company to find sustainable solutions.
• Participate in productivity and efficiency improvement projects.
• Work well with the team to drive a successful output that meets customer requirement.
• Liaise with Epiroc Product Company Engineering representatives to further develop our product.
• Carry out set tests on behalf of the Product Company and report results.
• Ensure timely implementation of Epiroc Safety Campaigns (Technical Service News Bulletin.)
• Works closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure the correct spare parts (mix) in RDC and LDC to support the customer.
• Develop maintenance practices for Epiroc equipment and customers aligned with automation.
• High level of knowledge of Epiroc machines and skills transfer.
• Support on Epiroc back-office programs.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Experience in Customer Service and good interpersonal skills
• Good planning and organizational skills as required
• An ability to work unsupervised at set standards
• Be willing to travel as and when required in the performance of his duties and training
• Technical knowledge of Epiroc's products

Educational Qualification

• A suitable trade qualification
• Valid driver's license is required
