    Regional Inbound Replenishment Planner SAF

    Main responsibilities

    • Process proposals promptly
    • Perform daily review of system recommended actions provided by ERP, Inventory management and WMS to ensure inventory levels for assigned parts will meet forecast customer demand.  Make decisions to release, firm, cancel or defer parts based on current inventory and demand.  Identify and escalate exceptions promptly
    • Expediting orders when required to meet customer expectations
    • Track and expedite orders for incoming shipments and backorders
    • Review changes in item status for opportunity to cancel/modify open PO's to favorably affect inventory

    Key requirements

    General Manager Ground Support (RGU)

    • The General Manager will be responsible for providing inspired leadership for the local legal structure which involves, production, SHEQ, Finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, local and export sales distribution.     Service Technician - BEV

    Mission

    • This position is to promote the technical support and communication flow, technical service and competence of the BEV machines within Epiroc and our Customers.     Main Responsibilities or Job Functions

    Product Specialist - Ekapa

    • Monthly machine inspections by the Contractor's Site personnel and the Product Specialist will be conducted on-site monthly to assist the Employer in maintaining the Commodities to OEM standards, and the findings from such inspections will be included in reports furnished to the Employer's representative during formal Contract and/or operational forums.
    • The contractor will ensure that it provides on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring in the performance of the services to the Employer's employees throughout the period of the Contract and will furnish the Employer with monthly feedback on the status/progress of such training.

    Product Manager | Components - Northern Cape

    Main Responsibilities or Functions of Job

    • The Product Manager - Components is responsible for the direct management of the component workshop and service team. This position will manage and lead a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day to day operations in the component workshop. It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaises with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard.

    Job Duties

    Mission

    Main Responsibilities

    • Work with local adaptations of the control system functionality including programming and testing. Feedback new requirements on the system based on the experiences in field.

    • Feedback product experience to the product company in Sweden.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
    • 3-4 years prior work experience with electronic and software design.

    Experience using the following software:

    • C/C++ , Linux – mandatory
    • Python - Beneficial
    • Android - Beneficial
    • HTML5 - Beneficial
    • Android - Beneficial
    • Java and/or C# - Beneficial
    • Systems integration experience
    • Advanced SQL skills,
    • Experience with multiple reporting suites,

    Key competencies

    • Good communication skills internally and externally and willing to develop strong relations with the Development Center in Sweden

    Continuous Product Improvement Engineer - HRD

    • The HRD product line includes a technologically sophisticated electric-hydraulic rockdrill, developed by Epiroc for hand-held drilling applications. Epiroc has a need to continuously optimise the design of the HRD system for it to remain industry leading, as well as to expand application of the technology to a broader range of new product applications. The Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) Engineer is a core position tasked to lead these objectives for the HRD product line. The role is multidisciplinary including mechanical, hydraulic and electrical engineering, project management and business dimensions. The CPI Engineer will report into the Global Product Development Manager for Epiroc Ground support, with a dotted line report into the HRD- Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will be based out of the Epiroc Ground Support offices in Johannesburg, South Africa, with opportunity to travel both locally and abroad.

    Continuous Product Improvement:

    • The CPI engineer will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the current HRD technologies through interactions with the RDO’s (end user) and the marketing and sales teams. Additional responsibilities will include the development of new electrically driven products and accessories, needed to provide our customers with a wholistic product system for the conventional mining cycle.

    Further roles include;

    • New product conceptualisation and scoping. Participate in customer engagement via the marketing team to understand customer requirements and conceptualise solutions.
    • Full product development life-cycle management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to convert conceptual ideas into marketable products.
    • Continuously design, develop and validate new product solutions to meet customer and business requirements.
    • Value Engineering and supply chain optimisation to continuously improve production costs.
    • Professional communication both written and verbal (Technical reports and presentations).
    • Balance of desktop work, field trials and customer visits.
    • Provide general support to the business line as required.  

    Requirements for Success

    • Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, preferably with honours or Masters. Conventional Mechanical or Electrical Bachelor’s degrees will be considered if the candidate can show suitable experience in Electro-Mechanical engineering work.   
    • Project management skills – either through formal qualification or credible experience.
    • Able to demonstrate a history of competence and achievement within the Electro-mechanical engineering field.
    • Competent in hydraulic systems.
    • Aptitude to develop creative and innovative technology within a high-paced environment.
    • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, self-manage, self-prioritise and action accordingly.

    Advantageous Experience

    • Experience in the mining environment with an understanding of rock drilling technology.
