Production Assistant at Truworths

Job Description

Truworths is seeking an experienced Production Assistant. 

Key Responsibilities    

• Coordinated daily communication with CMT owners to ensure timely production updates and resolve operational issues.
• Monitored production schedules to align with Truworths delivery deadlines and quality standards.
• Assisted in tracking work-in-progress across multiple manufacturing units to prevent delays and bottlenecks.
• Assist in issuing and follow up of Tryout
• Followed up on approvals for pre-production samples and resolved queries promptly.
• Check accuracy of BOM to ensured correct trims, fabrics, and accessories were delivered to CMTs.
• Maintained accurate production records, including style numbers, order quantities, and completion dates.
• Immediate alert on any production delays or issues in the CMT
• They will act as a Liaison between the production Planning, QA, CMT owners, and internal departments for smooth workflow.
• Follow up on Pricing submission and Approval
• Accurate invoicing to be captured on a weekly basis and approval to submit to Finance
• Assisted in coordinating transport and logistics for finished goods from CMT units to the distribution center.

Qualifications and Experience    

• 2-5 years experience in a similar role
