    Production Floor Data Administrator

    Position Overview:

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Floor Data Administrator. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining production data on the shop floor using SAP software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP applications, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Core Activities:

    Data Entry and Validation:

    • Accurately inputting production-related data into the SAP system, including raw material usage, production output, and quality control results.
    • Validating data received from production departments to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    Inventory Management:

    • Monitoring and recording stock movements and transfers in the SAP system.
    • Tracking inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy.
    • Assisting in inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generating regular reports on production metrics, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators using SAP.
    • Analyzing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.

    Cross-Departmental Coordination:

    • Collaborating with production, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure consistent and accurate data flow.
    • Addressing and resolving data-related queries or issues from various departments.

    Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, data privacy standards, and external regulations.
    • Maintaining organized records in the SAP system for audit trails and historical analysis.

    Core Decisions:

    Data Management and Integrity:

    • Making decisions on handling discrepancies or anomalies in production data within the SAP system.

    Inventory Control:

    • Deciding on recording and tracking methods for inventory movements to maintain accurate stock levels.
    • Recommending approaches for investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
    • Determining the frequency and methodology for inventory audits and reconciliation in SAP.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Making decisions on report formats and content to support production and inventory management.

    Core Capabilities:

    Technical Proficiency:

    • In-depth knowledge and expertise in SAP B1 software, particularly in modules related to inventory and production management.
    • Ability to navigate, input, and extract data effectively within the SAP environment.

    • Analytical thinking to identify patterns, trends, and areas for process improvement.

    Communication Skills:

    • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.

    • Multitasking ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience in data administration, preferably in a production environment.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and validation.
    • Familiarity with compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
