Planning, control and management of operations and maintenance activity
Ensure effective execution of operations and maintenance activities
Ensure maximum task quality and efficiency, and overall effective use of equipment and conformance to FOOT (Full Order On Time)
During emergency situations, evaluate the abnormalities and take corrective action as to avoid downtime, equipment damage and/or SHERQ incidents
Ensure own team adhere to operational and maintenance procedures and for people and plant
Ensure maintenance planning is scheduled optimally to maximise production output and adherence to production plan. Relationships, teamwork and collaboration
Understands customer requirement and ensures product/service meets customer requirements
Effective interaction with supporting activities e.g. P&SM, technical, engineering
Give input into how to improve overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for the plant
Continuously applies new ideas/work methods to improve results
Deals with human resistance to change in own area
Provide information/assist with projects with technical/support functions
Avail staff for training and development required due to the change initiative
Must be a be a team player and be able to handle conflict
Problem solving skills, report writing and communication skills.

Coordinating of sensitizer production
Maintenance coordinating
Raw material order coordinating and control on deliveries.
SLAMS
Coordinating of Day shift housekeeping
Scheduling of tanker cleaning and coordinating
Creating and registration of SOP, TRA and controlled documents for production
Safety inspections
Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license Code EB/08
Forklift / Tractor License (Advantage)
Qualifications:
Grade 12/N3 with Math’s, Science, English (Must)
NQF 4 Occupational Trade Qualification (Must)
Hazarded identification Training (advantage)
First aid Training (advantage)
Permit to work (advantage)
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Supervision
Minimum 10 years Production Experience
Experience in Explosives or Ammonium Nitrate related operations could be advantageous
Packaging line Experience (Advantage)
SAP (Advantage)
MS Office 365
Must be willing to work Shifts and overtime when needed
