Production Shift Supervisor at RCL Foods

RCL FOOD, is looking for an energetic, self motivated individual to join their Production Team as a sShif Supervisor. The successful candidate will need to manage the operations of the the production function so as to ensure products are manufactured correctly, cost effectively, on time and in full accordance to the quality standards whilst maximizing plant efficiencies and adhering to systematic process. Manage and control staff and is accountable for the whole shift.

Minimum Requirements    
Education / Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent NQF4
• SA Chamber of Baking Certificate

Experience

• 3+ years manufacturing supervisory experince
• 2+ years perishable food manufacturing and FMCG

Skills / Knowledge

• Practical knwledge of ERP system
• Full understanding of FSMS and OHS system
• Good computer literacy, especially excel

General

Duties & Responsibilities    
Key Resposibilities

• Check that ork orders are created based on production plan with production admin
• Check all machinery for cleanliness and ensure good working order
• Validate that a pre-run on critical points were done with maintenance staff
• Validate right number of staff at the right time for the shift according to baseline staffing
• Create and communicate production plan with the production team leaders and production admin
• Conduct regular staff meetings and complete meeting registers
• Conduct daily meeting with maintenace supervisor
