Responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

• We are looking for a Production Supervisor II to join our dynamic team . The role is physically located in Olifantsfontein. The main responsibilities of the Supervisor Production role is The successful candidate will supervises the activities of a group of skilled and semi-skilled employees engaged in performing a variety of production or assembly operations. Responsible for the training of controllers and some supervisors. Normally reports to Unit HOD. They will also be responsible for the following:
• Controlled & reported product quality parameters
• Controlled product & production processes
• Maintained people, plant, machinery and equipment to improve efficiencies
• Controlled raw material stock levels• Ensured safety, health & hygiene
• Managing a team

Qualifications

What will qualify you for the role:

• 5 years managerial experience within the manufacturing / operations environment in FMCG industry
• Computer skills including SAP and MS Office
• HACCP, GMP's, health, safety and hygiene compliance
• Degree / National Diploma in Production / Operations Management or Engineering 
• Leadership skills 
• Sound understanding and application of safety, health & hygiene in a production environment
• Sound understanding of controlled Food manufacturing production processes
