Production Supervisor at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide production staff to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure production meets quality specifications and company standards.
• Monitor machines to ensure optimal operation and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Conduct safety checks and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage materials handling both inside the shop and outdoors as required.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track downtime, plan maintenance, and ensure smooth production flow.
• Provide leadership, address absenteeism, and manage disciplinary matters.
• Promote a "right first-time" approach, driving initiatives to reduce waste.
• Report and process safety incidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train and develop production employees to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification (minimum requirement).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to monitor and maintain machine performance and quality output.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
