Professional Accountant (SME Division) at Moore South Africa

Minimum Requirements

Experience and Skills Required:

• Post article experience in an audit practice advantageous
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS for SME’s and Accounting Standards
• Working knowledge of CaseWare
• Proficient in various accounting software packages and Microsoft Office
• Have a good understanding of the Companies and Income Tax Acts

Educational Qualifications

• BCom, B.Acc or Honours degree (accounting or financial accounting)
• SAICA/AGA/SAIPA training contract completed or qualified

Position Overview:

• Drafting of financial statements in terms of IFRS for SME’s
• Execution of Independent Review engagements in terms of ISRE 2400
• Execution of Compilation engagements in terms of ISRS 4410
• Preparation and calculation of taxation for Companies and Trusts
