Professional Officer -Project Development and Management:
Relevant B Tech or B Degree in Engineering (from an approved ECSA accredited institution)
Must achieve professional registration within five (5) years of appointment
At least 3 years relevant experience
Well-developed technical and engineering skills
Software proficient (MS Office, MS Projects and SAP)
Driver’s License
Must have an abiding interest in the field of sustainable energy
Must be physically fit and able to conduct site visits, including capacity to walk unaided for long distances
Key Performance Areas
Project development, analysis and reporting on small to large scale RE projects including schedule and cost estimate development and management
Monitoring of project implementation services provided by service providers to ensure conformity to programme/ tender specifications including finalising bill of quantities and conducting post implementation audits
Liaison with internal and external stakeholders on project delivery and performance
Checking the budget allocations of specific acquisitions, interventions and/or activities required to sustain service delivery levels and preparation of motivations for approvals
