    Head Events and Operations

    Requirements

    •  A relevant Bdgree/ btech or advanced diploma with a national diploma.
    •  5-6 Years within the Events/Sports/Entertainment Industry with demonstrated experience in leading events planning, event operations, event execution, client relationship management and hosting of large/ major scale events.
    •  Experience in sports/entertainment/tourism/events
    •  management/infrastructure development and growth sectors.
    •  Experience and exposure in the following areas at a senior level:
    •  Strategy Planning
    •  Event and Risk Management
    •  Financial and Budget Management
    •  Client relationships and quality assurance management
    •  Business Continuity Management

    Senior Professional Officer Data Engineering

    Requirements

    •  A relevant tertiary qualification (honours or four-year degree), preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology or Information Systems
    •  Five (5) to eight (8) years’ relevant experience.

    Key Performance Areas

    •  Analyse and translate data into valuable insight to inform decision making
    •  Integrate and separate data feeds in order to map, produce, transform and test new data products
    •  Develop data services to meet user needs
    •  Produce data models and understand where to use different types of data models

    Director Supply Chain Management

    Requirements

    •  A minimum of relevant B degree
    •  The MFMA (Minimum) Competency Training, or will be expected to attain such within a year after appointment
    •  Extensive managerial experience at a senior level (more than 8) and comprehensive knowledge of and experience in policies and procedures applicable to the SCM environmentwithin the public sector
    •  A strong financial background and experience and managing large staff compliment
    •  A good working knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage

    Key Performance Areas

    •  Lead and direct the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function in the City of Cape Town, including all the component parts of Vendor Management, Tenders, Procurement, Demand Management, Stores and Inventory Management, Disposals and Bid Adjudication Communication and Support

    Head Contract Management

    Requirements

    •  Relevant Degree (Commerce, Legal, Engineering or other relevant to operations/directorate business area)
    •  Minimum 8 years relevant experience with minimum 5 years supervisory experience
    •  Relevant experience in a contract management environment in local/government will be advantageous
    •  Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP
    •  A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel

    Key Performance Areas

    •  To oversee branch activities and apply body of specialist knowledge and expertise to enable adherence to the organisation wide approach to Contract Management as set out in the Contract Management Framework and other relevant City of Cape Town (CCT) policies and procedures; compliance with the regulatory framework applicable to Contract Management and the achievement of value for money through embedding and overseeing best practice contract management principles Citywide.
    •  Oversee execution of centralised Contract Management functions
    •  Oversee provision of specialist contract management advice and support
    •  Oversee maturity and competency assessments and implementation of initiatives for maturity and competency improvement

    Assistant Professional Officer

    Requirements

    •  A relevant Bachelor Degree (preferably in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or Media Studies)
    •  Minimum two years’ relevant experience at an appropriate level i.e. communication, stakeholder engagement, public relations, marketing.

    Requirements

    •  Relevant B Tech or B Degree in Engineering (from an approved ECSA accredited institution)
    •  Must achieve professional registration within five (5) years of appointment

    Requirements

    •  Senior Certificate.
