Duties & Responsibilities

• Presenting content in a classroom environment
• Arranging for consultations with students.
• Results analysis at a modular level.
• Marking assessments and providing constructive feedback
• Employing interventions for at risk students.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

•  A minimum of an Honours degree or Advanced Diploma in Education
•  Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)

Experience 

• 1 to 2 year of classroombased teaching and Community of Best Practice exposure
• 3 years lecturing experience.
• Programme coordination on a modular level
• 1 to 3 years of industryspecific in areas of specialisation of academic cycles and structures
• Solid understanding of the South African Further Education and Higher Education environment and regulatory framework
• Teaching Learning theory
• Assessment methods and processes
• Teaching Learning interventions
• Holistic lecturer and student support services

• Knowledge and understanding of the South African higher education systems and regulatory framework.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
