Project Engineer - Pinetown at MAN Automotive (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd

Description

• Define project scope in line with corporate objectives.
• Ensure compliance with the required health, safety, compliance, MAN norms and specifications.
• Monitor project progress & use suitable action plans with regular meetings as per agreed timelines.
• Prepare project status reports, coordinate updates and keep management aware of all critical issues.
• Coordinate scheduled/planned project milestones and activities.
• Assist in the management of Engineering ISO compliance, budget and capacity planning activities.
• Liaise with suppliers to identify mandatory processes, methods and service requirements.
• Liaise with Procurement with technical information for ordering/outsourcing of services/vendors.
• Support Engineering and documentation processes.
• Work according to SHE requirements.
• Carry out required 6S activities in line with MAN norms and objectives.
• Develop project plans and deliver project specification with precise milestones.
• Assist with cost & waste reduction initiatives to enable departmental systems to be more efficient.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Relevant technical qualification (Engineering Degree / Diploma)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience:
