    Wholesale Sales Representative - Cape Town

    AVI Field Marketing is a shared services business unit within AVI. Field Marketing focuses on sales and merchandising for the beverages, snacking, and cosmetic business units to provide greater focus and to achieve an improved execution at the store level. 

    An opportunity has become available for an experienced Wholesale Sales Representative to manage and service wholesale customers in the Cape Town region. This role will be reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager.
     

    Key Performance Areas:

    Factory Financial Manager - JHB

    Line Manager: Operations Executive

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    Financial Controls

    • Manage and monitor company accounting procedures and policies, and internal controls, according to internal standards.

    • Consolidate budgets, plans and forecasts for site with adherence to strict deadlines.

    • Preparation, assistance and review of EVA (Economic Value Added) Capital Expenditure Proposals.

    Audits

    • Handle internal & external audits.

    Activity-based and Product Costing

    • Review accuracy of the bill of material on SAP.
    • Ensure all BOM’s are current.

    • Maintain & update monthly standard cost sets.

    • Generate ABC models on SAP for budgets & forecasts.

    Supply Planner - JHB

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Manage service levels - Targets set by the business.

    • Manage finished good stock levels within predetermined target days cover (this includes stock builds for promotions, line shutdowns, and peak build for seasonality).

    The role will report directly to the Engineering Foreman and be responsible for the plant and

    maintenance and repairs of high-speed packaging equipment and other plant and equipment.

    • Selects, installs, calibrates, and checks sensing, telemetering and recording instrumentation and circuitry
    • Develops specifications for non-standard apparatus according to engineering data, characteristics of equipment under test and capabilities of procurable test apparatus.
    • Fault finding and fixing of automation systems including PLC’s and AC drives
    • Fault finding on electrical low voltage system
    • Process instrumentation equipment installation and maintenance
    • Valve stroking and calibration
    • Participate in factory improvement projects
    • Attend callouts and planned weekend jobs

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • At least 3 - 5 years experience as an Instrumentation Mechanician or Technician
    • FMCG or manufacturing industry experience would be advantageous
    • Computer literature - MS Windows & Office applications
    • Field process instrumentation experience is essential – valves, pressure, temperature, level and flow

    Qualifications:

    • Completed N6 Certificate or National Diploma (S4), or related qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
    • Industrial Instrumentation Trade Test beneficial

    Additional Requirements:

    • PLC knowledge (Siemens and Allan Bradley)
    • Understanding of SCADA preferably Wonderware/AVEVA
    • Sound understanding of the principles and theory of Electrical and Instrumentation circuits
    • Interpretation of electrical drawings
