Project Manager at CLS Human Capital Specialists

Job Purpose:

• To manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while coordinating teams, stakeholders, risks, and project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education (essential):

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Electronic or Mechanical Engineering Degree would be advantageous)
• MBA or PMP certification preferred

Minimum applicable experience (years):

• 5–7 years' experience with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects

Required nature of experience:

• Managing complex projects within the defence, aerospace, RF, microwave, or related engineering industries
• Delivering technical products and solutions within highly regulated, standards-driven, and quality-controlled environments
• Project experience delivering hardware products within an electronics-related field, particularly electromagnetics or microwave/RF engineering
• Managing customer-facing projects, documentation, reporting, and deliverables
• Managing multiple projects concurrently
• Exposure to international customers, particularly European customers, is advantageous

• Develop project plans, scope, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
• Coordinate and manage project activities from initiation to completion.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
• Ensure projects remain on track and within scope and budget.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain strong relationships with customers, project teams and senior management.
• Manage customer requirements, expectations and commitments.
• Coordinate customer reviews, meetings and project updates.
• Provide regular project progress and financial updates.

Project Governance, Quality & Compliance

• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with customer, contractual and industry requirements.
• Monitor quality standards throughout project delivery.
• Coordinate qualification, verification, validation and acceptance activities.
• Ensure effective project governance and reporting.

Risk, Resources & Problem Solving

• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Optimise personnel, equipment and financial resources.
• Resolve project challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Manage changes to project scope and requirements.
• Support effective decision-making and continuous improvement.
