    Project Manager (Information Technology)

    Description

    We are looking for a passionate Project Manager to join our Delivery Team. As a Project Manager at BlueSky, you will be responsible for delivering digital cloud-based projects according to agreed client requirements from discovery to delivery to enable client business goals achievement. Able to strategically plan and align the internal and external project delivery processes between client and the BlueSky team.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Client/Customer:

    • Create a single point of ownership with the client

    • Analyse relevant business intelligence to identify, justify through business cases, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for clients.

    • Identify and manage stakeholder relationships.

    • Develop trust relationship with client

    • Establish brand with clients.

    • Ensure relevant client experience and change management practices in order to support successful client project delivery

    Delivery:

    • Ensure the project based on client requirements are facilitated through to completion within the required value, time frame and budgets

    • Provide project management support to the client from initial briefing and scoping phase, through to planning, estimating and budgeting, resource scheduling, design and development and full implementation of the project plans

    • Able to choose appropriate delivery methods i.e. agile, waterfall etc. that enables delivery and project success

    • Deliver operational excellence with the ability to anticipate potential issues and dependencies, highlight project risks, and manage and change against any business and technical requirements by effectively suggesting solutions or contingency plans at the appropriate stage of projects.

    • Ability to schedule, track and prioritise the work correctly against critical deadlines and milestones

    • Be the custodian of the project change management process. i.e. identifying scope creep and ensuring any changes/new requirements are documented, agreed and updated into the existing project plan

    • Effectively communicate the project status to both internal and external stakeholders during meetings, working through respective plans and key stakeholder deliverables.

    • Optimising and improving project management processes and the overall approach where necessary to find efficiency.

    • Manage project team to deliver objectives of the project.

    • Document and facilitate project close-out activities for handover to clients

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degrees and/or Advanced Diplomas

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degrees with Honours and/or Advanced Diplomas

    Minimum Experience:

    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment

    Advantageous Certifications

    • Agile-based certifications

    • Design-thinking / Customer experience certifications
