    Project Manager/IT Security Auditor

    About the job

    • Due to rapid growth and increased demand for our European and cross-border privacy, technology, and legal consultancy services, we are searching for an exceptional Project Manager and IT Security Auditor to join our remote team of attorneys, consultants, and project managers. The successful candidate will be a generalist – willing to participate in many different areas of the business.
    • This position is a great fit for IT systems auditors with project management experience, as well as any other business-savvy and very detail oriented IT security and cybersecurity professionals who are interested in growing into the project management field.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Executing project plans within the constraints of a scope, schedule, and budget
    • Maintaining the daily record keeping needed to keep the project plans up to date
    • Ensuring that you, your team, and the project operate within the company’s policies, guidelines, and procedures
    • Ensure transparency by regularly communicating status to the clients and flagging potential issues/risks for management
    • Assessing client information systems and business processes for compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), and IT and cybersecurity standards (e.g. NIST, ISO) 
    • Assisting with the implementation of business policies and procedures for clients, including IT security policies and procedures
    • Advising clients on privacy-related product improvements
    • Exercising initiative and creativity in suggesting enterprise improvements and product offerings, especially in cybsersecurity
    • Performing a variety of other privacy and cybersecurity-oriented tasks and duties as assigned
    • Maintaining regular 10am - 6pm GMT availability, with flexibility to work outside of those hours as needed

    Note: We may ask you to participate in a short skills assessment as a first step in the selection/interview process.
    Experience Required

    • 2+ years of IT audit/gap assessment, compliance work, or other work in cybsecurity
    • 2+ years of program/project management experience
    • Experience managing projects with multiple work streams
    • Experience in professional services firms or tech space is preferred 
    • Practical experience implementing privacy and/or cybersecurity management programs in organizations
    • Strong writing skills and very high attention to detail
    • Experience working in the healthcare industry (including related software companies) is a plus

    Education/Certifications:

    • At least one IT audit/IT security/cybersecurity certification required (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CEH)
    • Certified ISO auditor is a plus
    • PMI or similar certification is preferred
    • Legal background or relevant experience is a plus
    • Agile Framework knowledge is a plus
