Job Overview

• The purpose of the job is to manage KMC projects in line with the Master Production schedule to the benefit of KMC and the customer

Key Job Responsibilities

• To ensure that each project has a clear scope of work RB (Rebuild equipment)
• To obtain clear specifications for OE (original equipment) projects.
• To Initiate, Plan, Execution, Monitor, Control and Close of all projects
• To create the project schedule for the project as specified.
• To plan, organize, coordinate, and execute the rebuild/original equipment project as per the schedule.
• To perform integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
• To drive on time delivery and manage the customer expectations.
• Must be willing to execute ad hock tasks allocated by the Manager: Project office.
• Build a healthy relationship with internal and external customers.
• To always adhere KMC and mine safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Qualification in project management.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project management.
• SAP software knowledge and work experience is required.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes or heavy-duty equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Joy Products would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Komatsu processes and procedures would be advantageous.
• Knowledge and application of theory of constraints would be advantageous.
• Must be Computer literate in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver’s licence with own transport.
• Must be willing to work extended hours when required.
• Must be willing to travel when required.
