Project Manager - Shopfitting at Dixie Recruitment

Job Description

• Our client is looking for a technically minded and highly capable Project Manager to oversee shop fitting projects from planning through to on-site execution. The successful candidate will have strong project management and administrative skills, be able to interpret technical drawings and manage teams, customers and project requirements in a fast-paced environment. Experience within shopfitting or a similar technical, installation or project-based environment would be advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric & relevant tertiary qualification
• Exceptional project management skills with experience managing projects from start to completion
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong spatial awareness and three-dimensional thinking ability
• Good computer literacy and administrative skills
• Excellent people management and customer relationship skills
• Willingness to learn and develop within the business
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
• Willing and able to travel for projects, including overnight stays when required
• Flexible to work weekends and abnormal hours depending on project requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage projects from inception through to completion
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure projects are executed according to specification
• Coordinate and manage on-site teams, contractors and project activities
• Monitor project progress, timelines and operational requirements
• Liaise with customers and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project
• Conduct site and customer visits as required
• Ensure effective communication between customers, internal teams and on-site staff
• Manage project administration, documentation and reporting
• Identify and resolve operational and site-related challenges
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the required standard
