Projects and Systems - Digitisation Professional (Commercial)
Critically reviews processes to identify new digitalization opportunities to improve existing processes.
Provides guidance, support and know-how from a commercial perspective to set up and run internal digitization and other improvement projects.
Manages and/or coordinate a team of multidisciplined individuals to ensure each individual contributes on time to deliver a high quality result with in the timeframe agreed.
Monitors the status of all assigned projects and is able to present an overview of progress at all stages.
Performs commercial related testing of projects before implementation.
Provides training and ongoing support to employees impacted by new projects before, during and after implementation.
Prepares reports for senior management regarding status of project.
Manages and/or supports the local adaption and implementation of global projects (e.g. DASH reporting, Process tool implementation, SAP ReOrgs, etc)
Provides systems support and guidance on day to day SAP transactions (e.g. FI, CO modules).
Critically analyses proposed system changes/updates by local accounting teams/business unit commercials to determine if the proposed changes achieved desired goals/requirements.
External and Internal Contacts:
Internal: Head quarter projects and Systems teams, Local accounting teams, Business unit Commercials and Global Business Services.
External: Auditors, Banks, Service Providers, Consultants
Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience
BCom Accounting, CIMA or equivalent qualification
Excellent working knowledge of SAP and IFRS
Working knowledge of Esprit an advantage
Strong project management skills
Able to plan own work according to targets agreed
Able to critically analyse and challenge results
Able to present reporting to senior management
Able to quickly develop a detailed business understanding and how responsibilities fit in to the bigger picture
Able critically analyses processes with a view to improve quality and efficiency through digitisation and automation.
Able to work in a team, while in some instances able to lead a team
Able to strictly adhere to deadlines by prioritising tasks and effective managing of responsibilities
Strong drive to continually develop and challenge oneself
