The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for correcting spelling mistakes, typographical, numerical and grammatical errors, check facts, style consistency and copy-editing.

Responsibilities:

• Proofreading various elements with the main priority being digital marketing copy and content for social media, TV, videos, our website, all showroom pricing/copy and all internal and business copy – however, includes filling in for catalogues, brochures, direct mail, posters, documents, emails and any statics for web.
• Check accuracy of complex price tiers
• Ensure that all copy, prices and details are correct and match the specifics of the brief

Requirements:

• 3 Year degree/diploma in English or relevant qualification
• 2 or more years' proofreading experience
• Skilled in written English (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
• Advertising or design agency experience will be advantageous
• Experience and exposure to retail clients will be advantageous
• Must be able to work in a structured fast paced studio with very tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate at all levels - both verbal and written
• Self-motivated and deadline driven
• Excellent planning, organizing and prioritization skills
• Organized and systematic approach with exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to stay focused with copy that may be long and technical
• Ability to work well under pressure - independently as well as in a team
• High stress tolerance with great resilience and of an adaptable nature
