Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and milk frothers, with precision and care.
• Ensure consistent coffee quality by following standard operating procedures for extraction, temperature, and milk frothing.
• Engage with customers, take orders, and provide expert advice on coffee options and flavors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including cleaning equipment and tools daily.
• Manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients, and notify the manager of reordering needs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as processing payments and coordinating with the kitchen team.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Barista certification or relevant training in coffee preparation is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a barista in a high-traffic café or restaurant.

Skills:

• Expertise in coffee preparation, from espresso extraction to latte art.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, grind size, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
