Quality Assurance Technologist I: ECL - Potchefstroom at Rheinmetall Denel Munition

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Evaluate and approve incoming components and materials against acceptance requirements.
• Allocate and control status of materials on SAP system.
• Communicate non-conforming materials and corrective actions with the suppliers.
• Maintain and optimize incoming inspection and supplier’s performance database and reports.
• Develop and implement advance measuring methods.
• Plan / schedule inspection activities in accordance with project priorities.
• Accept responsibilities of the Supervisor in his absence.
• Accept responsibility for the ECL gauges and measuring equipments.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Minimum National Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics.
• Tech in any engineering discipline will be advantages.
• Understanding of Mechanical Engineering drawings & Geometric tolerance’s is essential.
• 2 year experience in mechanical inspection/ acceptance environment.
• Knowledge in SAP and Team centre softwares
• Knowledgeable in the application of ANSI/ASQC Z1.4, MIL-STD / ISO sampling plans and standards.
• Good Problem solving skills, customer liaison skills as well as interpersonal skills are essential.
• Knowledge and ability to apply the MS Office Software, Word & Excel packages.
• Resourceful and display initiative to carry out any task with professional attitude and manner
• Attention to detail, planning ,organising and administrative skills.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license (EB)
