Quality Assurer: Water at Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority - LGSETA

The Quality Assurer will be responsible for the provincial skills development providers, assessment centers, accreditation and certification of achievements, workplace vetting, stakeholders’ capacity building and registration of assessors and accesses, artisan development, monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance of learner moderators.

• The incumbent is to provide guidance and support to constituent providers, facilitate the registration of assessors and moderators, promote quality provisioning, and ensure compliance with legislation. Represent the LGSETA at different forums.

Job Requirements:

Registered Assessor

• Registered Moderator
• Water-related Degree or Diploma
• Relevant Trade Test Certificate
• Current NAMB Registration
• Valid Driver’s license
• Affiliation with Water Institute of Southern Africa
• Experience :3 – 5 years’ in the quality assurance environment conducting assessment and moderation of plumbing-related qualifications
• Strong knowledge of the Skills Development, NSDP, QCTO processes, SAQA act and related legislations
• Facilitation and Presentation skill

The successful applicant’s remuneration is negotiable, based on a Total-Cost-to-Company package that is inclusive of retirement fund and medical aid employer contribution.

• The appointee will be required to enter into a performance agreement with the employer.
