Quality Controller at SA Metal Group

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all quality related tasks and reporting any defects to the Line manager, Cold end supervisor or Quality Manager;
• Generate and administer daily reports as requested by the Line manager, Cold end supervisor or Quality Manager;
• Attend and participate in meetings as required;
• Adhere to the regulations as set out in O.H.S.A

Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

• 3 – 5 Years Quality experience in the steel environment,
• Matric with Math’s and Science,
• Current version of MS Office package including: MS Excel, MSWord and MS Outlook competency at intermediate level,
• Attention to detail and accuracy essential,
• Excellent Communication skills on all levels in the organization.
