Quality Engineering Senior Manager at Accenture

Job Description

The Test Manager is responsible for scoping, planning, managing, leading, reporting on, and closing down all test activities across various project deliveries, covering business process, functional and technical test elements

The Test Manager will report directly to the Test Director but may also be required to report to the respective programme manager on project related test activities.

Qualifications

• Prior project experience as a Test Manager
• ISTQB Foundation qualification
• Familiar with common testing concepts, principles, approaches, tools and methods such as the SDLC and Agile methodology
• Leading a team and working with defined planning and control processes
• Strong communication skills with staff and customers at all levels, including listening and providing answers
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience of working with third party suppliers
• Experience of working in cross-functional teams, composed of System Integrator, Supplier and customer
• Familiar with systems development lifecycle
• Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
• Experience with Point of Sale and Back-office systems
• Awareness of Information Security ISO27001
• Awareness of EU GDPR Data Protection

Desirable Skills and Experience

• An ISTQB Intermediate Qualification
• Understanding of quality management processes, including assurance
• Project management experience, preferably in a retail environment
• Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
• Experience with Point of Sale and Back-office systems, preferably in a design or test capacity
• International work experience
