A relevant master’s degree in engineering, Education, Quality Management, or a related field. A PhD degree will be advantageous.
At least three (3) years of experience in quality assurance, academic administration, or curriculum development within a higher education environment.
Strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks such as the Council of Higher Education (CHE), Qualifications Sub-Framework (HEQSF) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Knowledge of accreditation and programme review processes.
Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an academic environment.
Summary of duties
Develop and implement quality assurance and enhancement initiatives in alignment with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and evaluate academic programme accreditation, registration, and compliance with national standards.
Support the faculty in curriculum development, review, and benchmarking processes.
Facilitate training workshops and awareness programmes on quality assurance matters.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to quality promotion.
Coordinate faculty self-evaluation processes, external reviews, and improvement plans.
Prepare reports and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous quality improvement.
Ensure adherence to institutional quality assurance policies and frameworks.
