This role involves managing research projects from conception to launch, collaborating with various departments to ensure successful product implementation, and staying ahead of industry trends to enhance competitive advantage.
You will be responsible for maintaining supplier relationships, advising on procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with our unwavering safety and quality standards. Efficient budget management and resource allocation are key aspects of this role, along with presenting R&D progress to senior management.
Additionally, the role includes evaluating and sourcing raw materials, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and providing strategic procurement recommendations.
Essential Requirements:
Matric / NQF level 4
Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management)
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., SAPICS) would be advantageous
