    R&R Reporting Specialist

    What you'll do:

    • As a Specialist R&R Reporting, your primary responsibility will be to support the Resource & Reserve (R&R) Reporting process.
    • You will ensure that Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves best practices are in place, including meeting stated industry and regulatory requirements.
    • Your role will involve overseeing the consistent application of Safety & Health principles, compiling R&R information, assisting in the preparation of annual R&R statements and reports, managing documentation related to CP appointments, providing guidance to the CP on CP R&R reports, validating and reviewing the R&R information supplied by mines / projects / JV’s, administrating and coordinating of the Group Standard: Competent Persons R&R Report.
    • Oversee consistent application of Safety & Health principles
    • Compile R&R information and endowment information
    • Assist in preparation of annual R&R statements and reports
    • Manage documentation related to CP appointments
    • Provide guidance to the CP on CP R&R reports
    • Validate and review the R&R information supplied by mines / projects / JV’s
    • Administrate and coordinate of the Group Standard: Competent Persons R&R Report

    What you bring:

    • The ideal candidate for this Specialist R&R Reporting role will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from the mining industry. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience or related field, have a valid EB/Code 08 driver’s licence, and be a member of a recognised professional institute such as SACNASP or SAIMM. With at least 4 years' relevant experience under your belt, you will have an in-depth understanding of the SAMREC and/or JORC code, a working knowledge of JSE listing rules (sections specific to reporting of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves), and expert level knowledge of specific components of existing R3 software.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience or related field
    • Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s licence
    • Professional membership with SACNASP or equivalent institute such as SAIMM
    • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in the mining industry
    • In-depth understanding of the SAMREC and/or JORC code
    • Working knowledge of JSE listing rules (sections specific to reporting of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves)
    • Expert level knowledge of specific components of existing R3 software
