Key Output

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs/maintenance on generators/motors/alternators/engines on Earthmoving Equipment in workshops and on customer sites.
• Remove and install Mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform standby, effectively manage EMP account and attend callouts.
• Provide specialist advise on all the customer requirements.
• Build and sustain excellent customer relationships.
• Remove and install Electrical and Mechanical components.
• Wiring electrical panels (MV & HV) and ensure safe work practice
• Maintain professional image when representing BWE on customer site.
• Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Compile accurate customer service reports.
• Effective self-management and performance ownership.
• Control Contamination own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.).
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment.
• Knowledge of electronics as applied to the control of heavy electrically driven equipment

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Qualified in relevant trade (Millwright ONLY),
• Wireman’s licence (Optional HT) Certificate
• 3 years technical experience on Electrical drive truck.
• Applicable product knowledge
• Drivers licence – Code B
• Good physical health. And Self-motivated and driven
• Business development skills and knowledge.
• Good Computer skills to do machine diagnostics and fault finding.
• Good Reporting and Fault-finding Skills.
• Able to work Shift and Day shift and Must be proactive and diligent
• Must be flexible and dynamic in his/her approach for change.
