Key Output

• Achieve warranty balanced scorecard targets and KPI’s!
• Control cost effectively on normal types of warranty claims excluding goodwill claims in one region only.
• Provide technical support for Warranty resolution in one designated region!
• Ensure effective self-management and performance ownership.
• Provide feedback on warranty issues to supervisors and artisans in one region only.
• Decide on Warranty fitness of jobs.
• Develop warranty skills of supervisors and artisans in a region.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Grade 12
• Must be a Qualified Artisan, (Mechanic in relevant trade e.g Diesel Mechanic/ Heavy Equipment Mechanic or relevant mechanical engineering qualification
• 1 year’s post apprentice/learnership experience (1 years post red seal qualification as an artisan)
• Machine general technical knowledge and applied skills.
• Applicable product knowledge
• Basic financial acumen L1, Influencing and negotiating L1
• Technical report writing skill L1, Customer responsiveness L1
• Organisational awareness L1, Attention to detail L1
• Computer literate (MS Office, SIS ET & SAP/CRM – Warranty role)
• Problem solving and failure analysis skills L1
