• Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist/Back up Spa Therapist:

Receptionist:

•  Ensuring a warm friendly welcome to clientele at all times
•  Schedule and coordinate guest treatments on the provided booking system
•  Completing daily opening and closing procedures and checking lists per relevant area
•  Monitor availability of treatments and staff to ensure punctual service as per the relevant skills of therapists
•  Organising schedules for fully utilize time and profitability while ensuring that clients' needs are prioritised 
•  Handle cash, credit card and room charge transactions and ensure that all dockets are signed.
•  Assist Spa Manager is stock takes and other inventory duties if and when needed
•  Uphold gracious front desk procedures in the booking and handling of customers

Spa Therapist:  

•  Supports the smooth running of the leisure department, where all aspects of the guest experience are delivered to the highest levels
•  Works as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries
•  Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner
•  Actively promote Spa treatments, programs and promotions and all discounts available
•  Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously
•  Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.
•  Monitor and adhere to all aspects of the Spa's operation
•  Uphold standard of hygiene and sanitation as per health and safety regulations
•  Manage product usage by following protocols guidelines
•  Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and homecare offered

Requirements of the Receptionist/Back up Spa Therapist:

•  Experience in a 5 star Spa but not essential
•  Diploma in Beauty Therapy
•  Hands on approach with a can do work style
•  Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
•  Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
•  Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
•  Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
•  Strong communication skills
