    Recruitment Specialist

    Manco HR Operations is a sub-function within the Manco HR Services Function in MTN Group HR. The Specialist: Recruitment, On boarding and Services is responsible to for the delivery and support for the end to end recruitment, onboarding and services provisioning, with the objective of delivering service and experience excellence for Manco South Africa

    The Specialist:  Recruitment, On boarding and Services will report to the Manager : Recruitment, Onboarding and Services (Manco)

    Operational Delivery

    • Understand and interpret HR needs and utilise the recruitment policies, procedures, practices and interventions to fulfil those needs
    • Ensure the implementation of fair and equitable employment practices 
    • Guide and advise line managers regarding recruitment policies and facilitate related training events to ensure the consistency and the effectiveness of the recruiting practices implemented
    • Implement recruiting plans accordingly forecast human capital requirements (by level, skills, experience, employ equity) defined at senior management level
    • Coordinate with Manco Business Talent Partners to ensure job profiles are kept up-to-date and complete  
    • Along with interview teams, participate in and play an advisory role in recruiting, creating job postings and interviewing candidates as needed
    • Manage vacancies and job posting (incl. internal job postings)
    • Support and liaise with Manco Business Talent Partners / Business Unit users for shortlisting and interviewing scheduling 
    • Ensure timely communications and coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle
    • Manage administrative and coordination activities for the offer management process including hiring due diligence / background checks / referral checks
    • Manage onboarding processes in a timely and effective manner, with a view to maximize new candidate experience  
    • Coordinate with internal departments (and external agencies if any) to ensure onboarding readiness
    • Timely coordination with employee services team for to the recruitment and onboarding updates to HRIS
    • Assume accountability for recruitment related documentation and verification procedures
    • Monitor and measure onboarding customer experience 

    Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

    Education:

    • Degree (Human Resources/Behavioural Sciences/equivalent)
    • Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body (advantageous)

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in experience in HR Recruitment and Operations services in a telecommunication business 
    • Telecom / Consulting industry experience (advantageous)
    • Experience working in a small to medium organization 
    • Experience in ERP (Oracle preferred)
