Novus Print: Montague Gardens is currently seeking to appoint an individual, with knowledge and experience in an FMCG printing environment to take on the role of a Reelstand Operator to ensure the accurate preparation of reels. The successful candidate will report directly to the Shift Leader in the Press department.

Job description
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

•  Ensure correct paper size, grammage and check QTMS loaded
•  Assist with paper breaks and change over
•  Fault finding
•  Management of excess paper and prevention of spoilage 
•  Ensure accurate preparation of reels to maintain desired quality within time tolerance
•  Assist on the press when required
•  Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained
•  Adherence to safety procedures and operational maintenance

 Minimum requirements

•  Matric or equivalent
•  1-2 years’ experience as a Reelstand Operator
•  Exposure to the Press room environment
