Regional Business Development Manager - Automotive + New Mobility
Coaches Global and National Key Accounts Managers Regional leader for the assigned industry, adapting and implementing global strategies and functional leadership of GKAMs
Your Responsibilities
Adapts the global vertical strategy, sales targets and corresponding business plan in close corporation with Business Units and National Managements
Supports the development of the global industry value propositions incl. innovative services / products and develops related solutions with the BU’s, specific industry teams and Key Accounts
Controls Key Account performance within the region (GP and volume) and initiates / supports corrective actions in case of target deviation
Controls service performance and takes / initiates corrective actions in case of issues and acts as escalation point for Global and National Accounts and national managements
Secures prosperous pipeline development and all time accuracy of the CRM system
Coaches, evaluates and develops the GKAMs within the region
Builds external industry network relations and represents KN as lead expert
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree, equivalent, or similar level of education in transport business;
+5 years’ experience in a similar position as Business Development Manager in freight forwarding, mandatory;
Strong knowledge and understanding of Logistics business
Experience with logistics processes, systems, and solutions;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Effective presentation and customer relations skills, excellent listening skills;
Organizational, administrative, and strong communication skills, both oral & written;
Good analytical skills with attention to detail, able to work on own initiative and within a team;
Goal-oriented, self-disciplined, and self-motivated to produce results; Able to set priorities and to keep an overview;
Good problem solving and negotiation skills, both commercial as well as diplomatic and team-oriented;
