    Regional Demand Analyst

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Segmentation of SKUs according to ABC-XYZ methodology, data preparation, and cleaning historical data
    • Running statistical forecast for the region in order to create a baseline weekly demand plan
    • Prepare, facilitate and gather insights through weekly collaboration meetings with depot and district managers and embed these onto the iPlanner demand plan
    • Collaborate with central demand planners in order to ensure alignment with long term forecast, upcoming NPDs and national promotions
    • Review of demand planning KPIs, identify gaps and influence changes in order to improve forecast accuracy in line with set targets
    • Capture demand for NPDs, events and promotions into the regional demand plan
    • Support run out plans for discontinued SKUs through monitoring sales performance
    • Track and Monitor performance of sales against published forecast in order to reduce obsolescence in the region
    • Work with Central demand planner in preparing for monthly regional demand review with regional leadership
    • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support regional stakeholders. ( e.g. T1 and T2 specialists, sales and finance/ppm)
    • Review IDP plan & actuals

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification
    • Strong analytical ability to convert data into valuable business insights
    • Good communication skills
    • Familiarity with Supply chain principles, working with numbers, and picking up patterns in large amount of data. (Attention to detail highly important)
    • Advanced ability to use SAP, MS Excel, and databases
    • Excellent presentation, report drafting, and problem solving skills
    • Ability to solve complex issues from framing of the problem to making recommendations
