    Billings auditor

    • To oversee the hospital’s billings process and ensure products and services received by patients aligns with the final bill. Perform accurate audits of patient files, comparing the products and services received with the itemized bill in the context of the Company’s billing requirements and contractual arrangements with Medical Schemes.

    Job Summary:

    Minimum Qualifications and experience:

    • Nursing Diploma
    • 2-3 years’ experience in Billings environment
    • Advanced Computer Literacy
    • SAP will be an advantage.

    Minimum Duties:

    • Perform Billings Auditing duties in accordance with the Clinix Health Groups standard and procedure.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the Clinix Health Groups
    • Review and analyze reports as a management tool, to identify negative trends and implement corrective action.
    • Audit patient files as per Company requirements (and standards) and in accordance with the Company contracts with Medical Schemes
    • Perform End of Case on the approved system
    • Ensure the accurate maintenance of supplier invoices.
    • Efficient management of Billing processes by Specific to private patients, final bill invoices on the SAP system as ‘paper’ claim and forward patient files to the collections department for further management.
    • Adhere to reporting standards by analysing information and reports by identifying trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making.

    Enrolled Nurse Medical Ward

    Job Summary:

    • As Enrolled Nurse, to take responsibility for both direct and indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients, and to function under the direct and/ or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, according to the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12.
    • Enrolled Nursing qualification.
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS qualification.
    • 3+ years’ relevant Nursing experience based on area of specialization.
    • Experience within a private hospital environment advantageous.
    • Computer proficiency is advantageous.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform all duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core Standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, patient rights and Responsibility charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD). Plan, organize, assess and prioritize work for self to ensure efficient completion of tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
    • Drive quality of care adhering to work standards and establishing a safe, therapeutic, and clean environment for all stakeholders (patient, family, doctors, and staff) that is free from medico-legal hazards.
    • Document patient care services by accurately charting in patient and department records including progress on patients’ condition.
    • Drive a positive patient (customer) experience by putting patients first and deliver holistic customer-oriented service.
    • Inform and educate patients about the Groups complaints procedure and “My voice” platform.
    • Adhere to the principles of Lean management (i.e. reducing wastage and unnecessary expenditure) without compromising patient care whilst ensuring minimal wastage.
    • Participate as a team member and contribute effectively towards achievement of unit goals.

    Group Technical Manager

    JOB SUMMARY

    • To monitor and manage machinery preventative management, repairs and new installations across all CHG hospital facilities. The incumbent supervises and manages the outputs of technical specialists (across the group) to ensure all CHG facilities meet health and safety standards.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Grade 12
    • Electrical/Machanical National Diploma or equivalent qualification
    • Project Management will be advantageous

     Minimum Experience

    • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in similar role
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of people management experience (for technical staff)
    • Hospital Experience is non-negotiable

     DELIVERABLES

    • Assist the Technical Specialists in hospitals to plan and conduct risk assessment to ensure continuous or uninterrupted services in the hospital 
    • Ensure all repairs and new installations are accurately reported in the management reporting system utilised by the group (i.e. shared drive) 
    • Provide emergency technical services (i.e. breakdowns) / ensure availability to work overtime
    • Responsible for the ongoing improvement and continuous development of maintenance plans  
    • Engage with service providers during price negotiations for services to be rendered 
    • Liaise with the maintenance planner to ensure invoices are captured accurately and paid timeously  
    • Implement, monitor and control technical and maintenance processes according to quality standards, policy, and compliance and governance requirements  
    • Investigate and understand Hospital needs to enable delivery of a quality service 
    • Perform technical induction for new technical staff  
    • Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and to streamline processes 
    • Prepare monthly operation reports  
    • Develop and implement Engineering best practices and Standard operations polices
