Overview

• The Regional Manager role at Finbond Mutual Bank is a dynamic role that oversees the daily operations of our branch network. The role will be instrumental in managing product sales, credit collections, and policy controls. This leadership role is pivotal in executing our strategic goals and achieving our budget targets and requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operational excellence within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement regional strategies that align with the bank's objectives. Lead the execution of these strategies to ensure operational efficiency and excellence across all branches and areas.
• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the regions branch network, ensuring that all activities run effectively and efficiently. This includes managing product sales, credit collections, and adherence to policy controls.
• Budget Management: Take responsibility for the regional budget, including setting targets, forecasting, and monitoring expenditure to ensure that financial objectives are met.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing regional team capable of achieving the bank's strategic and operational goals. Ensure the team is well-supported, engaged, and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all regional operational activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyse operational performance against targets. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Customer Experience: Oversee the delivery of outstanding customer service across all branches, ensuring that the bank's products and services meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
• Innovation and Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve operational processes and systems. Embrace innovation to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Representation: Represent the region at the banks Operational Committee and various relevant sub-committees. Communicate decisions made at the various forums to regional teams were relevant to the region and strategy.

 Key Results:

• Ensure that all budgets in operations are achieved. This includes sales, collections, income and expenses and the ultimately the bottom-line end result.
• Ensure that all Area Managers are performing in line with and over and above what was committed to in the budgets.

Probation Period:

• The Role is subject to a three-month probation period.

Approval Requirements:

• The role is subject to final approval by the Head of Operations.

• Directly to the Head of Operations
