    Regional Project Research Leader

    The Role:

    • The Regional Research Leader-South Africa & South Korea is one of the most critical roles for this project. This role is responsible for project design and customization according to requirements of the markets (South Korea & South Africa), being a single point of contact (SPOC) for the client at the regional level. The Regional Research Leader will also be part of regional and global forums where strategic and project execution matters are discussed on regular basis.

    Responsibilities of the Role:

    • The Regional Research Leader will design, monitor, analyze, and report insights from the project. This role will be responsible for working closely with local NIQ commercial teams to address any client issues, answer questions on methodology/data, generate insights that would strengthen the client’s in-market strategy and conduct regular workshops. In addition, the regional research leader will coordinate with the CI operations team to ensure that deliverables are available to the client as per the committed schedule. The Regional Research Leader will also guide data structure design, develop weighting schemes, build quality checks, and carry out basic and advanced analysis on recruitment and in-moment data. Finally, the Regional Research Leader will communicate with the project leader and CI leadership team (as and when needed) if additional help is required to keep things on track.

    Here are some of the areas where the Regional Research Leader has to work with the various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project:

    South Africa and South Korea SPOC for the client

    • Work in close coordination with regional client head
    • Understand and guide client’s strategic objectives through study metrics and diagnosis
    • Provide feedback on the client queries/questions in a timely fashion
    • Enhance the client satisfaction with the project

    Study Design implementations

    • Defining right study sampling frame and target group
    • Methodology customization (Online v/s Offline)
    • Sample size & quotas to suitably deliver metrics with the required granularity
    • Sampling approach specific to market
    • In-moment methodology adaption
    • Questionnaire design
    • Developing the RMS brand engine
    • Local market customization

    Supervising the Execution

    • Briefing operations team
    • Co-ordinating with operations for the timely panel set up
    • Link testing
    • Monitor sample achievement and data quality

    Dashboard & Analysis

    • Dashboard architecture
    • Developing reporting templates
    • Guiding data structure design
    • Data review
    • Developing weighting scheme
    • Carrying out basic and advanced analysis on recruitment and in-moment data

    Reporting

    • Timely and accurate data population to reporting template
    • Report finalization and release to the client
    • Monthly/quarterly presentation to the client, including regular strategic workshops
    • Addressing ad-hoc data/analysis requests
    • Being part of regular internal and client meetings to share the project progress

    Qualifications

    • The ideal candidate for this project is someone who is willing to accept new challenges, sound research and data analysis experience, problem-solving attitude, ability to generate actionable insights, excellent client servicing skills, pre-empt the risks and build mitigations plans, and ability to influence others and get the things done on time. Someone who can focus on individual stages of the project but always keep an eye on the final deliverables. A candidate with 10 plus years of experience in Primary Quantitative research industry preferably at the agency side.
