    Regional Sales Manager: Emerging Markets - Polokwane

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Clover is looking for a results-driven, highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join the Masakhane/Emerging Market team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in sales, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a passion for driving business growth through acquiring new accounts and maintaining relationship.
    • The successful individual will be responsible for optimising sales and growing the Masakhane General Trade in the assigned region.

    Requirements    

    • Degree
    • Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
    • Experience in working with senior management
    • People management experience  
    • Business English: Fluent
    • Computer literacy (Intermediate)
    • Code 08 Driver's license 
    • Travel off-site/overnight stay

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    Maximise sales & develop the Emerging Markets customer base.  

    • Provide input into the development of the Emerging Markets growth strategy
    • Coordinate the execution of the sales plan for Emerging Markets 
    • Ensure implementation of pricing structure for route teams 
    • Manage fixed costs 
    • Facilitate growth of Principal product sales.  

    Manage Staff  

    • Train and develop route teams and measure performance. 
    • Manage and measure performance. 
    • Set route teams sales targets and drive their achievement 
    • Coordinate the effective use of tools and devices 
    • Conduct meetings and ensure effective communication with all 
    • Control overtime 

    Coordinate stakeholder relationships. 

    • Solve customer related issues and queries 
    • Ensure sound communication between all supporting departments.
