Reinsurance Accounting Manager

- Experience 4 years
- Location South Africa
- Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit , Insurance
Responsibilities
- Responsible for financial close for the entity
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare and review technical and financial accounting entries
- Ensure reinsurance payables and receivables are well maintained
- Provide group management with financial analysis
- Collaborate with actuaries and finance teams
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
Qualifications
- 4+ years of post-qualification experience as a CA, CPA, or ACCA
- Big 4 insurance audit and reinsurance industry experience
- Proven experience in the preparation of statutory disclosures
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and industry-standard accounting software
