REIPPP & Commercial Bid Manager - Cape Town at Mulilo

Goals and Responsibilities

• Implement bidding strategy
• Be ultimately responsible for REIPPPP and other corporate bid preparations.
• Interface with Off-Take team, and Senior and Junior Developers.

Knowledge and Experience 

REIPPPP/Corporate Bidding

• Be the representative and lead interaction for any bidding program
• Co-ordinate and manage various bid workstreams required in preparing a bid response
• Engage with external consultants, legal, economic development and financial advisors,
• Manage budgets and timelines for bid preparations
• Ultimately responsible for the compilation and submission bid responses.
• Interact with Senior Developers to collate information into their project's respective bid responses.
• Prepare and manage potential bidding risk register
• Present bidding strategies to the Bidding Committees

Reporting

• Provide PPA risk reporting to internal stakeholders, SteerCo and shareholders
• Provide budget, risk and schedule updates within development activities. 

Required Skills and Educational Background

• Master's degree in commerce, engineering, or other relevant field
• 7+ years experience working with large renewable energy projects
• Experience from similar role with same level of responsibility and tasks
• Strong project management, communication and relationship skills towards external project stakeholders to ensure project progress
