DESCRIPTION OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key purpose of the role is to generate world class audience analytics and measurement intelligence to inform Business Strategy, Development & Measurement. The envisioned role will be responsible for:
Business specific data tools
Generatebusiness insights, audience measurement and location intelligence using proprietary data, syndicated and industry data analysis software and primary research.
Partnering with marketing and sales teams tostrategically merchandise Provantage products and capabilities, produce on-brand tools and resources to achieve business objectives.
Leverage primary research, proprietary data and data partnerships to design and implementbusiness specific data tools.
Specific roles and responsibilities could include, but not limited to:
Business insights, audience analysis and location intelligence
Develop and implement data sets, dashboards and customised data and insights tools.
Perform various audience analysis by using metrics and measurement systems to provide insight
Develop new audience insights to support media formats and marketing collateral.
Coordinate the execution of research and data projects.
Constantly innovate, create, and invent new ways to enhance research, insights and data assets and apply the best practice & advances in research, business and location intelligence.
Promotes and enable others to use the most relevant research, insights or data tools and methods
Identify bespoke research requirements based on audience insights
Sales and marketing services
Day to day audience analysis and strategic insights based on business requirements.
Work with Marketing Services to ensure that all new materials & advertising solutions are successfully conceptualized, packaged, launched, supported by audience and market insights.
Research and translate information into powerful and impactful stories in the form of a relevant core insight library, effective training materials and audience expertise toolkit.
Identify opportunities within audience and market segments to inform business growth
Liaise and promote the use of the standard and automated reporting services and toolsets to Group stakeholders
Continually evolve the approach to data mining to ensure that insights remain fresh and relevant
Business specific tools
Support key business initiatives by generating insights and communicating opportunities or issues.
Work alongside business, Marketing Services and other teams with ad-hoc reporting and in-depth analyses to support product enhancements, launches, company initiatives and other needs as they arise.
Perform primary and secondary research on competitive landscape across the media industry and digital competencies.
Provide meaningful insights presentations and/or dashboards to various internal stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications:
Degree in Economics / Marketing / Business / Research
MS Office advanced
Analytical with a keen eye for detail
Previous experience in a similar role
Consumer and Audience Insight
Min 5-6 years’ experience in insights or research role
Familiar with segmentation, audience measurement, statistical functions, research methodologies and modelling techniques advantageous
Previous experience with GIS & mapping tools such as MapInfo, ArcGIS preferred Good understanding of audience metrics and the terminology thereof
Knowledge of various analysis software suites, i.e. Telmar, Quantum, Nielsen, Softcopy, TGI advantageous.
