Description

• Assists in research support, such as seed cleaning, seed weighing, trial preparation, and any other request as per manager request.
• Ad hoc upkeep of research offices, seed laboratories and glasshouse.
• Performs routine activities under supervision
• Assist with trail planting, maintenance and harvesting under supervision.
• Utilises equipment, such as scales, seed cleaners, etc. under supervision.
• Provides verbal feedback on work activities to supervisors.
• Adheres to quality standards.

Requirements

• Grade 10
• Good communication skills (writing and verbal).
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to perform routine work.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• A valid South African driver’s license would be an added advantage
