Retail Store Manager at The Pool Team

The ideal candidate will have an ability to manage the daily operations of a swimming pool supplies store and complete tasks related to daily management of the stores, staff management, stock control and cash control. They should have strong supervisory skills and be able to facilitae the sales of products and services both over the counter and telephonically.

Responsibilities

• Successful general day to day running of the store
• Opening and closing of store – store and staff time keeping, (attendance register)
• Daily cash up’s & cash control
• Daily stock control – (Spot counts and Game Plan counts)
• Responsible for store stock and cash
• Monthly stock counts
• Stock receiving & receipting
• Facilitating the sales of products and services both over the counter and telephonically
• Stocking, organizing, presenting, marketing and selling of products
• Housekeeping
• Customer analysis
• Sales / client retention and growth
• Strong supervisory skills
• Good working and understanding of retail and wholesale business
• Attend monthly managers meeting
• Ensure staff comply with companies’ policies & procedures 

Qualifications

• 2 years retail experience
• Strong customer service, management and communication skills
