Job Description

The Role: Our Retention Specialist plays a vital role in the marketing department. You will be responsible for scheduling and executing our direct marketing campaigns, including targeted email and SMS advertising, digital engagement content, promotions, and mobile-app messaging. You will assist with managing content and its placement.  

Here is what you will be doing (the important stuff) 

• Assist with driving the direct marketing strategy across SMS, e-mail, and other digital marketing platforms  
• Set up, testing, execution and reporting on marketing campaigns and promotions across various platforms 
• Configure and distribute landing pages  
• Brief in designers and copy writers timeously, and review work   
• Manage timelines and schedules for external communications   
• Research, evaluate, segment, and pull list selections for targeted and mass mailings from the Gaming system 
• Competitor analysis of direct marketing campaigns  
• Updating content on client facing websites via back-office tools 
• Configuration and testing of promotions and campaigns 

The essentials:  

• Matric / Grade 12  
• Prior experience of I-gaming / casino  
• 3+ years in a technical marketing position  
• Excellent communication and written skills  
• Great organizational skills   
• Track record of success working both independently and within teams  
• Advanced level MS Office skills – being an Excel guru is necessary. 
• Experience with bulk mailing programs (Everlytics, Sendgrid, Mailchimp, ETC)  
• HTML basic skills  
• Landingi or similar experience
